I might make it Can't make it Leave a comment? Details School's out! Come one, come all and celebrate! Come meet the explorers of the South and swap war stories and cold beers. Location TBA, activities will probably include some, if not all of the following: meet up, explore some of the better office towers and industrial spots in Dallas, then hit some rooftops at dusk, watch the sunset, then retire to the drains for BBQ and beers. AS OF 5/5/2011, the tenative plan is meet up at noon at Kincaid's Hamburgers for some lunch, rumored to be the best burgers in DFW, then whenever we're done head over to the stockyards somewheres, lawls. PM me for info, enjoy the historic area and possibly hit some of the larger, more group friendly abandonments. When we've spent a couple hours exploring, we'll head over to the Burgess Parking Garage, the tallest parking garage in Texas, head to the roof with a grill and enjoy good old fashioned Texas BBQ and beers while we watch the sun set and swap war stories. For those who haven't had enough, the party will take to the drains for more explorations / beer. For the truly hardcore: Spend the night in the drains, catch some winks under the city, and the next day, emerge and head to Dallas for more abandoned buildings and drains, then head home after an amazing weekend.
