Here is what I read about hydrovex sediment flushing tank : Stainless steel, maintenance free. After a storm, the water collected is fed to this hydrovex, moving gradually it's center of gravity. When filled to 95%,this center of gravity crosses in front of the ball bearings. The sediment flushing tank then tips over spilling off its water content,in a "filling bucket"(?) creating a massive and high velocity wave, shearing grits and solids from the tank.Once emptied,it returns to its initial position....(Now I understand the "may operate without warning "!) What becomes of the sediments I don't understand, neither the duck and dolfin logos..Environment safe ?
