I haven't been able to do much exploring over the last month as I expected. My work schedule has changed so many times over the last month and a half, I cannot even plan to take vacation time.

UE Related News:

Not very much on the UE front to report over the summer. Hoping once my work schedule irons itself out, I can plan to get out on some of the areas I had planned to explore.

Non-UE Related News:
As I posted earlier, the main reason for not being able to explore very much this summer has been the work schedule. On August 1st, my employer got awarded a contract for doing customer care work for T-Mobile USA. They were looking for 50 employees to start training on the 14th of August. They found very few volunteers, and so they started randomly picking employees to be "volun-told" to go to the new project. I unfortunately was one person chosen for this new contract. I personally was fine with where I was before. I knew my job inside and out, and was getting consistent good rankings within the center. (Out of 500 + employees, I have only been ranked out of the top 100 once in 4 years)

The new contract I was sent to was for dealing with big business account customer care. Dealing with billing, troubleshooting handsets etc. A big part of the job is mathematics. Re-rating, crediting accounts. I have never been a big "numbers" person. I don't like it at all.

Other than that. Everything seems to be slowly working itself out. Besides the occassional "flat tire" on the UEMobile, I am sure the summer will end on a high note....
