Networkism! By its very nature, urban exploration is something that's fun to write about. A good deal of its appeal is the chance to relate your experiences to others -- you know, the storyteller instinct. What's odd is that while it makes something of an unfulfilling spectator sport, it's usually fairly entertaining to read about in turn -- even if doing so tends to lead to irresistable urges to take it up yourself. Such is the nature of the beast.
As such, a lot of people habitually document their outings. Photos, videos, stories, and other such media tend to pile up and usually end up on a personal web site. A lot of websites feature logs of personal adventures as well as general information about UE, such as safety tips, recommendations for equipment and conduct, and the like.
Suffice to say that our site is far from the only one out there, and there's a lot of good stuff to be found. Here we've presented a small portion of it, including some of the major sites out there as well as some of personal interest to us, such as being based in our area or revolving around our favourite targets. Check them out.

Canada

Infiltration
Ninjalicious' canonical site on Urban Exploration, focusing mainly on Canada but including a good deal of general and international information as well. It's officially the home page of the Infiltration paper zine and there's lots of good stuff to be found around the site itself. It also features a few mailing lists, Infiltration merchandise and other cool toys.

Viewing Hole Gallery
Where many excursions done by the infiltration.org types end up. A nifty site by the indomitable Liz featuring photo galleries of many places in and around Ontario.

Wraiths.org
Jester's Urban Exploration group is active in British Columbia, and they've explored a number of interesting sites with their unique masked ninja infiltration-fu, as it were. Some nice photography and very cool sites covered.

Whitby Psychiatric Hospital
Nanoman is probably the definitive expert on the abandoned Whitby Psychiatric Hospital, one of the most atmospheric and creepy infiltration sites in Ontario. His site includes photos and stories from the place.

Don Valley Brickworks Gallery
A nice collection of galleries of photos from the Don Valley Brickworks. The colours really stand out in these shots, extremely vibrant. Lots of interesting sights.

Montreal Abandoned Buildings
A fairly prolific site on abandoned buildings in Montreal, Quebec. Lots of information to be found and plenty of buildings are featured.

Urban Exploration Montreal
UEM is a new site based out of, you guessed it, Montreal Canada. The site doesn't have much up yet, but within a few weeks I am sure it will be puking with information.

Forgotten Newfoundland
A comprehensive UE site based in Newfoundland, with lots of pictures and dozens of featured sites.

United States

Action Squad
A large, somewhat venerable and always entertaining UE group in Minneapolis. They've covered many buildings, tunnels and drains, with lots of good material.

Australia

Cave Clan
Quite probably the largest draining group in the world, the Cave Clan has been exploring the subterranean waterways of Australia for years. When they have their photos up, the site serves as an impressive reminder of how ridiculously spoiled Australian drainers are. :D

Russia

archimage
Neat urban photography, often a bit abstract. Another beautiful example of how the urban environment can be artistically rendered. Lots of decaying and abandoned sites.

Europe

Adventure City
A UE site that seems to be based around Germany and France. They've got information on a wide variety of sites.

The Great Nation of Miscellaneous

The Vadding Archive
A collection of information regarding UE, from links to infiltration sites to books and movies that involve it. Not updated often but there's a good deal of stuff to read.
