I've been driving through Orla since I came to the US in 1969. Always been a ghost town, and I've always been intrigued enough that I always meant to stop. Last time through, I finally did. Its a good thing, because on my most recent trip, the town is full of people. None of them residents, but full of people nonetheless. Buildings being repurposed or torn down, rigs popping up right in town. Glad I took my chance when I did, because it will never look like this again.
