Captain's trip

Found this little gem in the classic Captain_Slow manor:

I'm driving down 380 and I need to piss like a racehorse, so I pull off and have a wee, when suddenly my Explorer-Sense goes off and I see a large roof on the horizon down a worn out side road riddled with holes and missing singles, then I notice the large storage shed on it's side behind the house. So I jump in my truck and gun it down the road, and a couple minutes later I'm climbing into one of the most beautifully damaged houses I've ever seen (about this time I remembered to put away the little Captain and zip up).

After being inside for a few minutes I knew I had found something cool and ran back into town and grabbed PrivateJoker and came back at dusk and poked around. There's a lot amiss here... Containment room, prison release forms, very violent damage to the house, fresh debris everywhere.... The running theory that me and PrivateJoker came up with is... Young boy is born, grows up in the house with parents. Kid is troubled, starts committing violent crimes, parents wall him in the "containment" room, which exacerbates his violent tendencies and leads him to eventually commit a very violent robbery. While he is in prison, or perhaps before, the parents move away / die and leave the kid the house (he was 21 when he went to jail). While he serves his time, a big storm, multiple storms, vandals, whatever, wrecks his house, and when he comes back from jail he finds his house trashed, parents gone, and has no money and nowhere to go so he's just squatting... In his own house.

Anyway this is a GREAT explore, I think, but my preference is for houses and small town abandonments. It's definitly worth the trip, if you vist the Inmate's house and have eyes you can find several other abandoned houses and the Mahard egg farm on the same neighborhood.
