The cottages in Lakewood are increasing in number and beauty each year. The word cottage is fast becoming a misnomer of the beautiful and stately resilience that have been and are being erected as winter homes for men of wealth and social prominence. Georgian Court ranks tirst in the list of superb homes, and this beautiful residence of Mr. George J Gould may more fitly he called a palace. Lynx Hall, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Lynch, is a massive stone structure on Forest avenue, which is a landmark in the village.
