About 3 years ago, a friend and i went to the plant to hangout on the rooftop and watch a movie. We got off work at 4am and was on the rooftop by 4:30. We watched freddy got fingered and waited for planes to pass over as we sat and ate trail mix. About 6:30am the sun was almost out and we decided it was time to head home.

On our way down the many flights of steps, we heard workers talking and turn on a radio. We got to the last landing of the catwalks and sat and watched as workers started to get ready for their day of draining the basement of water. The only way out at this time, was right next to their cars and shack, and directly in the line of the men getting ready for work.

We decided we had to try and get out while the interior was still dimly lit with construction lamps, so we devised a plan. We walked over toward the boiler section and slid down a support beam to the ground floor. We looked around the corner and there was 2 white hats talking about the day ahead of them. We snuck around them and jumped off a wall into the turbine hall and took off for the hole in the wall. I ran around the corner and down a few steps and dove head first out of the hole onto a small ledge and waited for my friend who was just behind me. We ran through the brush as fast as we could and even both fell into the water making our escape. Once out of the woods, we ran accross the baseball field and hoped into our cars and sped away toward the highway to go home and pass out.

That wasn't the only time i've had to escape from the power plant, but it was by far the most memorable. I don't even know if we were even spotted, but it sure was a rush!
