I spied the barn on this property over a month ago and checked it out every time I drove by. Google Maps showed lots of vehicles parked around it but I didn't see anything like that. Then I discovered Live Maps. A fantastic "bird's eye" photo showed that this place was definitely abandoned. A trip revealed two abandoned trailers in addition to the barn. Not a fantatically interesting place but easy to access and no security except possibly the neighbours. Located right beside a major highway, I think this barely qualifies as "urban". With the expansion of Oakville and its surrounding area I expect this place will be replaced by 100s of new homes in the coming years.
