This afternoon, I was walking around the grounds which connect the two above ground buildings and cover the bunker and came across an old couple doing the same. They tentatively asked me something in Cyrillic and I said "American" and gestured to myself. The woman spoke some English but very little but between the three of us I got some tantalizing info. The woman said that this was the family home of the Sikorsky's (Father mother sisters brothers in her words) before the revolution. All the area where the other building stands, the courtyard between the two and the playground behind were then a huge family garden and that the first Sikorsky helicopter landed in the back, on top of or near the bunker. They tried to tell me more but I didn't recognize the names and just couldn't get it. The Sikorsky bit was more than cool, though.
