I was driving home from New Mexico and it was getting late, so I pulled of the road to take a nap. It was pretty dark and I couldn't see much but there was a little lot off the road that looked like a good place to park so I did. After a few minutes I dozed off over my steering wheel, when I awoke the sun was out and birds were chirping, I looked around to see where I was and the lot I was in was actually an abandoned gas station! I got up and poked around for a bit, There was a big roof over the parking lot that was caked in swallow and wasp nests, the storefronts windows had all been smashed out, inside not much was left, you could kind of tell where a deli area had been and the back part of the store looked like a house that the owner might have lived in. I found some legos and a monopoly house in there, out back was a little shed with some telephone wires and other miscellaneous stuff in it.
