Hole-In-One

I remember coming here a few times as a kid. This was one of my favorite courses. They had a decent arcade filled with old Atari-style video games and 3 courses, but that wasn't the best part.

You could win free games here. The deal was, they had a light bar on the awning with four colors: red, yellow, green, blue. They had 5 colors of balls to choose from: all the above plus orange. If you were smart, you didn't choose orange right off the bat. On certain nights, you could go there and they'd light up two of the colors, then switch to the other two every half hour or so. If you had, say, a green ball, and got a hole-in-one while the green light was lit, you went back to the concession booth and handed in your ball. You got a coupon for a free game and the orange ball to replace the winning ball. I only know one other course that did this, they, too, are closed now. It's a shame seeing these courses closed or demolished. 15 years ago, there were about a dozen or so of these type of places, some were arcades and mini golf, some had the works, others were just the golf.

I hope someone buys the place, and fixes it up. It wouldn't take a whole lot to get it looking nice again. Fix the building up a bit, redo the course, and get rid of the weeds.
