i was a little disappointed to discover a haunted house rather than a spacious abandoned school, but i got over my disappointment after a while. my friend and i walked every path of the entire maze, on both the first and second stories. after we left, i came back and replaced several of the screws so that the door was back in its original position.

i'm assuming i was the first person to see the inside of that school in at least 5 years, and could easily have been the first since the haunted house closed in the 80s. there was no litter, and no grafitti. this alone was exciting to me.

in the end i probably would have been more excited if i had walked into a roomy 2 story schoolhouse, but i was happy enough to have seen a building which had not been entered in years.
