Circa early 1900's Dr's House

Along a very narrow dirt road about 2 miles into the woods in the middle of nowhere, I came upon 2 beautiful Stone structures. The remains of both are still quite beautiful.
The houses are made of stone, one has a very well laid stone front porch, both have / had fireplaces in every room, chimneys still pretty much in tact, full basements, and there was also a smoke house near by. The structures are abandoned. Legend states that a doctor lived there with his wife had a son who was mentally handicapped. The child was not allwed to leave the house unless he was with his parents. He was alone in the house when a fire broke out, and he did not leave. He perished in the fire. After losing his son, the doctor never returned to the property. The buildings were never torn down and foundation wise are in great shape. People say that they have heard noises and seen a young boy in the woods in this area. This could be urban legend, but... who knows.
