My newest acquisition, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20. Generally speaking, I was itchin' to try it out, to take it 'splorin' with me. But actually, exploring was furthest from my mind as I headed into Dayton one hot July weekend to check out some kinda Country music fest. Turns out it was boring. Hot and boring. Hot and boring and humid. Not good. Dayton in July... what was I thinking!? I walked around and listened to the music hoping to get a shot or two of the crowd -- something interesting -- but the crowd was very mediocre. There was lotsa food (to pay too much for) to eat, but I wasn't hungry. And I didn't need dancing lessons in the main tent, either. So I left. Walked back down Monument Ave., toward my wheels. And it was there. The plant. Dying slowly. I'd been in years before, but had no pix. Never one to let a trip downtown go to waste, I turned and headed toward the river and the bridge...
