Went to Fry's on December 4th 2004 to return a incorrect motherboard I purchased, and pickup some christmas presents, when I noticed a bunch of construction equipment around the Vacation Village. Demolishing has started! They are starting at the last hotel room, and working towards the front. About 10% of the hotel rooms are torn down. When I left, they had stopped all the machines, and gone home. There are easy entrances into the place now, (several open doors in the front) But I imagine security is beefed up with all the equipment around. Water trucks and big peterbilts are hauling out the pieces of the building knocked down. It is now a active site, so tread carefully.

So sad, more of las vegas history torn down. I did not have my camera phone with me, so I did not get pictures.
