*Sigh* We visited Mt. Airy every summer from 1969 (10 yrs. old) - 1982, and a few after that. The "other" band was "King Henry and the Showmen". Henry is Joey's brother. Joey used to be in Henry's band, then left a few years after he married the singer from another house band, Thea. He and Thea later went to Strickland's, and I lost track of them soon after. It's all sooooooo sad to me. I have so many memories at Mt. Airy. I went from when I was ten until I got married at 23 (then just a few more visits). Kinda feel like I grew up there. In August 2005 we vacationed at Bushkill. I took my kids to Mt. Airy and had no idea it was being demolished. Ugh. What a shock. We explored a little, but most of it was already gone. I started a blog about it, but no one's been there yet! Well, I'm glad I found these pics (see some by Craig Hackman (I had the Crystal Room sign on ebay!))
