Posted by chrisT 2/21/2009 7:56 AM | remove   Back in the 70s/early 80s, before they bult the new addition and cleared out the whole 'devil worshipping' area, you used to be able to walk off the path between that abandoned house and the start of the 1000 steps (toward the left on the way up) It came to this spot where you were standing on top of a building, and climbing down around to the front there was another sealed up entrance that kept getitng broken into. It was in there that all the devil worshipping paintings were, and the supposed devil worshipping took place. Real creepy place at any time of the day or night. Once saw a dead dog at the bottom of the 1000 stairs and heard noises in the woods, never ran up those stairs so fast.
