That vacuum cleaner was manufactured in the 60s. I saw a chart in an Electrolux store back in the 80s which showed all the vacuum cleaners styles manufactured by them. According to the chart, about 70% of these units were still in use at the time. Would not be surprised if it still works.

Yeah like sausages on wheels. The one my mom had was from the 70s. Not tapered in the front and painted green. Like a moldy sausage.

They also ran across the floor on skiis, they didnt invent the vacuum wheel yet.

electrolux has never been big on innovation, just the looks of thier vacs have changed everything in them is modular and can be swapped from model to model, i fixed our 8 year old one with a blower unit from one like this

nothing sucks like an electrolux... i used one to clean my cars until 1999 when the ancient innards caught fire... that's funny, trying to throw a flaming vacuum cleaner out of a car!!!
