It gives the viewer the feeling that their eyes are watering... kind of like ours were up on the roof in that wind. At least the church came out better than I'd thought it would.

Unfortunately the two pics I took of the moon came out blurry. :-( It was really pretty that night, too.

The moon is tough. It's bright enough to fool the light meter. At some point I picked up a tip for moon shots, kind of like f8 and be there , but this one equeated to the phases of the moon. Suprisingly short exposure unless you want no detail.

Not to mention it was freezing arse cold up there; you were probably shivering like the rest of us. No worries.

the blurriness gives it an expressionistic quality--kinda reminds me of Van Gogh's "Starry Night", or I could just be "blowing sunshine out of my ass"

The impressions of the night out I'll always remember; the carolers, the howling wind , the dead birds, the view from the roof while almost getting blown away. The radio. Driving in a downpour to meet some folks I wasn't sure would make it . Wasn't the most thilling thing in the world, but the cilrcumstances made it very memorable.
