Description
WARNING - Controlled Area. It is unlawful to enter this area without permission of the Installation Commander. (Sec. 21, Internal Security Act of 1980? 18 U.S.C 787)

While on this installation all personnel and the property under their control are subject to search.

These are similar to the signs at Area 51.

Probably explains why security showed up minutes later. I hid in some bushes and watched them while they searched the building.

Didn't look like you had a hard time getting in, lol.

Every military base has signs like this. They put them up again inside bases near areas that are supposed to be secure.

Today there probably isn't much at Lowry worth protecting; I imagine the security primarily is used to deter vandals and squatters.

'twas as easy as walking down the sidewalk; they're removed the fencing around most all of the base. I think there's some left by the dam and some over by the golf course, but that's it.

Most of the valuable equipment in the buildings has also been removed, though there's this one I'd love to get into that has some old fifties style medical equipment inside.
