Fat chance, this place isn't only a bunker. It is the main relay "switch" for all US Military. Every command/order from the Pentagon to troops worldwide goes through this place.

Fat Chance is right, they even shut down the tours of the hotel in VA where the backup congress was supposed to live (why am I forgetting the name)?
I was planning on taking that tour this summer.

That's the Greenbriar Resort in WV. It was called Project Greek Island. They are supposed to open it back up soon they are doing renovations.

I really want to take the tour; I find it fascinating that they completed such a huge project right under the noses of the guests there .

They built it at the same time they built an additional wing onto the Greenbrier. All the bunker workers were disguised as "Television and Cable Installers".

Not to mention the fact that the Greenbriar was the largest and most powerful employer around that area, and if someone would have talked, they faced the threat of never working around there again.

Saw that Greenbriar special on Discovery a few years back. Really interesting. I love the old Cold War, Spy vs Spy type stuff...

no offense, but this place must not be 'that' top-secret if you know about it.

I don't think anyone said it is top secret. It is still active and extremely well guarded

Nice pictures but I'm not buying the, 'Automatic remote machine guns' thing. WAY to much of a liability if some civilian accidently got blasted.
