the last music class I was in, we spent one half of it on Emerson, Lake and Palmers "Brain Salad Surgery" and the other half decyphering Don McLean "American Pie".

we had to analyze sex pistols "Anarchy in the UK" in our grade 9 music class.

At least it was "good" music. We had to anyalyze "one tin soldier rides away" and other assorted crappy folk music.

We analyzed "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man" in high-school English class. In elementary school it was some stupid song about an eagle being free, when they let him be.
