I don't know if this was a bathroom - there was no plumbing or holes from plumbing once being there. Featureless floors and walls.

Wow - good call - this seems like 'the first time I've seen this - assumptions are dangerous - u r correct - no plumbing! - Now I'm lost as to what this could have been used for.

Maybe a "rubber room" at one time. There would normally be padding all over (including the window) and the patient would be restrained to prevent injuring him/herself. If the door was still there it would have a small porthole on it for observation purposes. The ones at Whitby Psych looked about the same size. They were located in building #26 (demo'd in 1994).

It appears that the function of this entire bldg. was cafeteria / food prep - I think the answer lies somewhere in this. Nota Bene -> the tiles in this room.
