  My old house had a porch like that. Poison Ivy growing in the planters, too.

  This is leading from the Ember's Lounge. I'm sad you weren't able to get any picture of the long, sweeping bar. It was edged in black, padded vinyl. It also had a fireplace. The windows looked out to street level and had teardrop-shaped capis shell lamps hanging in them. My dad still has one. A lot of recessed lighting and a low ceiling lent itself to a cozy atmosphere.

  The wall on the right also used to have a backlit panel. Ivaguely remember what the remnants looked like. I seem to recall a somewhat asian, rice-paper screen effect.
