a lot of the buildings were built, as is with most worlds fairs, with low grade materials, the labyrinth according to a ucla site on expo was showing cracks in the concrete before the fair even opened so it was possibly for the best. im glad in the plaza near the jean drapeau metro station they have an enormous man and his world emblem sandblasted into the pave uni. now that six flags has removed the emblem from la grande roue

.... which sucks big time. The Carrousel and the emblem. Sick flags has no respect for history whatsoever. It's all about money.

Yes, I saw it. I spent quite a lot of time night exploring the islands last summer. We had a blast! And I almost sh*t in my pants when I walked in the Place des Nations. Those wood panels in shape of spectators with info about the history of the place written on them. Well... at night, when it's dark, they freakin' look like real ghosts! Anyway...

This was another of the most popular pavillions with 4+ hour waits to get in.
There was a top to bottom movie screen and one of the "shocking radical" scenes of the time was the birth of a baby. It really grossed out people who didnt know it was coming!
