Description
Not such a bad pool - replaced a much larger, much deeper, and probably much less safe pool around 90

I love the twirly bit of ironwork on top of the gate - is it supposed to transform such an utilitarian looking structure into a thing of beauty?

I hve the same twirly thing on the fence to my driveway - I never did understand it, some sort of trailer-trash elegance on a ghetto old chain link fence...

I have the same thing on the gate between my backyard & my side yard... chainlink fence installed in early 90's...

Someone should drain and skate it

If my memory serves me - it was a flat bottom pool of only about 4 feet throughout.

Ours (late 70's vintage) have the little decorations similar to these, but also a twist-on badge that says "Sears" on each gate.

I'm looking at the pool...then I'm looking at the lake in the background. Lake is much more appealing.

5 gallon bucks of stagnant water creep me out. I feel your pain!

That was very shallow and very flat. bratchny, your memory served you right.

Yup true. Before the pool went in I remember taking swimming tests in the lake and getting assigned colors if I remember correctly
