'Dukes checking out a house that is on the verge of collapsing. The houses near the road are in much worse shape than those on the hill. We believe this is a result of the snow plows that come through here for the Mt. Marcy trail head. By pushing all this snow onto these houses, they seem to be in much worse shape.

back in 1997-98, these houses weren't in that bad a shape... the floors were gone, but they weren't in this terrible a condition I do not forsee them making it through this winter if we have a good snowfall. Winter comes to this place first.

Overall the village aint that exciting, but Bizz's ps film camera made the shingle pop; great pics. My parents just clipped a Utica paper article ; 200 grand to stabilize and restore the Mcnaughton cottage.
