Speakers and benches were removed from this side, as well. Above most of the ceiling panels were lights of various colors, red, green, blue, and yellow, which flashed in sync with the music. By the time that the club closed, only the red and green lights were still working, making for a dimmer environment, but by that time, so few people were coming that one needn't have worried too much about stepping on anyone else's toes, or elbowing them. The red police light has a blue companion, still completely intact, behind the pole that's farthest back in the photo. The DJ booth, on the right, also had a strobe light which faced the dance floor, and was occasionally turned on. Personally, I found it to be a little annoying.
