The administration for the health authority stayed there till 2005. It had a 300 bed long term care facility in one wing till 2005 as well. Parts were used for various community functions and portion of the SE Regional College was in one wing for serveral years. Some areas were idle since '71 however the majority of the building was utilitized for several years.
