I remember one time they had a huge order of small flourescent fixtures that were being assembled. The people would get a few bucks for their work and learn technical skills. I think it was pretty stupid of the government to get rid of the farm back in the '70's. People were calling it 'slave labour'. The patients had nothing to do on the weekends after that and they were pretty damned bored. The only thing that kept problems down to a minimum was the privilege system.
