Wonder if it still runs, but i doubt the batteries are still up. Shame to leave that locomotive there. It belongs in some museum.

It engine might still run but I doubt it would be able to move without a major overhaul. This train was built between 1950-53 and operated until 1997. Quite the run!!

oh and btw, this is a Baldwin diesel electric DRS 6-6-1500 with an 8 cylinder inline engine.

Cool locomotive. The little "speeder" car on the left is quite collectible too, those were used by track maintenance crews.
