Now the only remaining structure from the sawmill era is the house factory, built in 1940s. There's been some plans of renovating the factory and converting it into apartments, but no-one actually wants to do that. When DM guys visited the site before the soil cleaning work the house factory looked much lower. Now the contaminated soil around it is gone, as is the ramp to the second floor too. There's a bricked window that was earlier behind the ramp. Was the ramp built afterwards? This is the end facing to the ruins and residental area.

shame they left the roof open. The best* way to destroy a building is to make a hole in a roof.
*Best as in least-effort. Not fastest.

I wonder what caused the roof to cave in in the first place. The old roof has since been demolished so there's no longer hole above the sliding door. For some reason the new roof looks a bit... higher?

I just checked from the picture I took today and the hole is still there. I wonder why they haven't covered it.
