At least the highway didn't get built along the waterfront. Imagine the Torontonian horror we'd be living with if it had.

i agree, the only waterfront highway we have is the bonaventure thank heavens and the ville marie tunnel is a lot better many people walk over it every day not knowing its there

Don't get me started about the Toronto waterfront! It's probably the most spectacular bad waterfront development on earth!
