  fallen montreal landmarks like dunns and A Gold and Sons, yes the dunns we have now was re started a few years back by a nephew its not the genuine article!

  It still angries me to see these pics and realize we had an amazing "quartier des spectacles", which we let get demolished/turned into strip clubs/cheap shops and whatever else. And now today, we are paying to create... a "quartier des spectacles", which we had in the first place. So ironic that our motto is Je me souviens. It`s more like "Je me souvien... de rien". Anyway. ok. I'm stepping down my soapbox now

  Maze.. I agree and I always say the same damn thing when it comes to stuff in montreal... look at the lachine canal near old montreal! They filled it up and then re-dug it!

  Another fine example.. Turcot yards. Build a cool bridge thing and then tear it down less then half a century later.
