  The Pontiac version was called the Astra/Astre... the Parisienne was called just that down here. A friend of mine had one of those big boats.

  ahh ok, i know there were some boats down there that had different names on both sides of the border, even come the 80s we didnt get the geo nameplate till 1992 you guys had it in 89. Was the pontiac laurentien available in the states? i know the t1000 was called the acadian up here, that was a tip of a hat to the old acadian badge we had up here at "pontiac buick acadian" dealers
