There are still tons of trams from Mtl at the St-Constant train museum though. They even operate a few during the summer!

Yeah. I was there a few weeks ago. Tons of trams in there. You can hop on the last one that operated in Mtl for a tour (it's still operational) or you can visit all the unrestored one inside the storage sheds.)

Sweet. How much does it cost to enter?

Also, can you get there from St. Constant train station easily or do you require a car to go there?

need a car, once a year they run a special commuter train out there but the commuter train normally runs inbound in the morning outbound at night

That's what I did actually. I took the train at Lucien-L'allier train station and this got us right INSIDE the Exporail museum (yeah, they have their own train stations in the museum). We left Mtl at 11am and got back at 5pm. It was great.
