Location DB > United States > California > South Bay > Dumbarton Rail Corridor > Newark Slough Swing Bridge > low tide

19 / 23   low tide

Description
A good shot showing how the low the tide was today. Those broken pilings should not be visible, and there should definitely be no mud mounds visible. This is what most of the Delta looks like at an average low tide...

A sign is also visible on the bridge in the center of this shot. Its unreadable now, but it was most likely either a "No Trespassing" sign or a sign which alerts large boats passing through the slough what number they have to contact to have the bridge opened.
