It's even uglier now. It's covered in brownish mold, everything inside is trashed, and there's lots of water damage. The semi-basement thing has, like, 4 feet of water in it. The big glass door is shattered, so now anyone can just waltz in and tag the place up.

well it finally got demolished... they're supposedly building condos on the site. i haven't heard anything locally about it. i just wonder what used to be on that sign

I like looking back and seeing what they thought the future would be like. They're doing the same even now, you'd think after 50 years or so they'd learn to stop predicting flying cars.

I don't want to end up like the older generation thats around today and be afraid of technology. I'm 27 and I'm not ready for a flying car. I've never flown in an airplane, but will someday. The thought of people flying in cars is scary, add to what would happen if it broke down, no flat tires here, just death.

I'll put that on my to read list after I finish Fast Food Nation. I work as tech support for an ISP, have no problem learning new computer technology, and like all genres of music. But I know I'll get too old one day and not have a clue, and hate my kids' music. I'll end up like my grandfather who farmed all his life and was wowed by a Sony Walkman.
