Some sort of washing trough. I think. It's a trough, but what it was originally used for is debatable. Keeping in mind most of the grafitti here, its current use probably depends on the balance abilities of the couple involved. ;-)

you have some really great pics.
Just wanted to let you know (because you were unsure) that what you took a picture of is actually an old autopsy table.

What would an autopsy table be doing in a school? Was there a morgue there that you hid from us, Oherian?

No morgue I ever found. Keep in mind it was also a farm at one point.
I'm not certain it was an autopsy table, though. It seems to me that it is too narrow to fit someone, especially if you're planning to examine them at the same time (high sides making it more difficult to manipulate the corpse). I always thought autopsy tables were somewhat flat, with troughs and drains?

If you look at the top of the next photo you can see the drain at the top. As to why there is one there i couldn't tell you. However, that's exactly what it is. It's a very old autopsy table. As for the sides beig high I never said who invented them were bright. lol. But that's what it is.

I think it was communal hand-washing station, actaully. Thanks for the nice comment Kori!

I'm not sure if it's an autopsy table, but I know that there were labotimys (sp?) performed at the school... it was more than just a juvenile center; experimental medical procedures went on there too.
