There was something that might have been an old cable tow, but couldn't tell. It closed a LONG time ago.

So awesome! An old family friend of ours recently bought Old Smokey. Has no plans to do anything with it. He wants to preserve it as is. Many memories for him there. My parents use to ski there back in the 60's! I was going to go and explore it this past weekend but my youngest son (age 4) wanted to join me and I just don't think it's safe enough. Did you enter the area via the treatment plant drive-up (mowed drive with a chained off entrance) just to the right of Lanktree?
