If you go back, buy a Snickers or some peanut M&M's and see if they became active at any point. I've been told that Pay Day bars are particularly prone to hatchlings.

  Hatchlings of what?

I guess that it's some sort of insect larva. Somehow, they survive the peanut roasting process (HOW!?) to hatch inside the package.

LOL these vending machines are easy to steal from. When I was younger, we had one of these at a place I use to go to, and use to steal pop and candy from it all the time.

We used to have the ones that had a rotating carousel, and a little door ant opened up (for putting fruit and things in). Was always great fun putting something random like a rock in it. The best was putting someone’s cell phone in it, and watching them pay £1.90 to "buy" their phone back :P
