I have the same sewing machine in my basement and it still works! It was originally used to sew fur coats for Eatons back in the day.

the singer sewing machine is awesome, i wonder if it still had the belt intact. they break easily and are hard to find. my mom still uses hers at the cottage.. its 100 years old i think
