During my search for information on this place I ran across an article that, although not related to this site, is still cool. Oddly enough, San Antonio is considerd the second most haunted city in the West. If it's on the Internet, it must be true.

It was a fraternity house late in life. Before that it was all sorts of things. Sterling Hall was what it was originally, constructed as part of The Coronal Institute in the very early 20th century. A Baptist Academy took possession of it forty years later, turning it into a boys' dormitory.
In either 1968 or 1969 the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity bought the building and it became known as the "Pike House" after that.
In 1997 it was sold and abandoned, although it is owned by a developer who had planned to turn it into a private residence.

Been to some great parties there in the 70's
