No way! It just grew up and became the La Ronde ferris wheel. True story. Really.

And then, Sick Flags killed it by removing the Terre des Hommes symbol from the ferris wheel :( BOOOOOHOOOO. I hate Sick Flags.

Yeah but it wasn't six flags who removed the water slides from laronde

True. But the Aquaparc never was a financial success and it costed a humongous amount of cash to keep it up in good working order. With St-Sauveur growing and all the other places, really, the Aquaparc was a lost battle from the beginning. I do find it sad though that the Aquaparc monorail route was kinda scrapped though :( That sucks. No more telephérique, always less and less of monorail, always less and less of Expo history :(

I have this theory that the same slides that laronde had were sold to super aqua club. Because the year after Laronde got rid of them, aqua club had the exact same slides.

OH, I didn't know that. I did however hear that there is a garbage dump on top of the spring where they get naya water from.

that is true, the funniest, when i had my house in ormstown, well my neighbors bought labrador water. Ormstowns tap water comes from the franklin spring...same place as labrador!

You would think that they would get it somewhere in Labrador. Just to think that there was a time when all that river water was drinkable.
