  I never noticed how the hotel blends with the house in the pic, I'm just glad that they didn't tear the house down. They almost did....

  It does look cooler and it would've been awesome if I could've seem it that way in person. But, I'm glad that the grounds and buildings are being taken care of because it was really close to simply falling over on its own

  I would in a heartbeat except that it's locked up pretty good, I'd like to arrange a tour but it'll be a while.

  I was fascinated by this house as a kid in SA... finally, friends and I walked through it when we were about 13. It was amazing, but a little challenging getting upstairs since most of the risers were missing. I'm so glad they didn't tear it down, even though the historical pictures are much closer to the way I remember it looking.

  eww I dont like seeing newer modern buildings near old structures...takes away from the whole historical feel
