Is that green stuff water? And how'd you get that angle, were you on an opposing building?

That black thing looked like a shadow at first, but now looks more like something submerged or emerging, curious, very curious

Probably a mine or something....You can never tell when your in a country with ever-lasting troubles. Sort of like Kosovo or something.

It could even be a car, or some construction equipment that was knocked in.

Examining it closer, it looks to be an old soviet-class mine, roughly 3 feet in diameter, and 2 feet high.

If it is 3 foot wide then that truck is tiny.

the reflection in the water makes it look bigger that it actually is. (one of my neighbors collects live mines from all over the world)

I really doubt it as a mine. I believe that this is nearly moss growing on someting. There seems to be a ton of this around. However could be anything.

Do they have rocks over there? lol it could be a piece of a building knocked in the water from a US missile, end of a water pipe, a really big crab, I really don't know, very interesting but it makes me angry not knowing what it is haha!

Yeah, that's no mine. Way too large and the placement wouldn't make any sense.
And no, they don't have any rocks in Iraq. Sorry.

Anyone take a guess that it might be a drain or something. I thought I'd be the ass that thought of something other than a mine.

If you look along the bank further you can see two more, just not quite as dark.
