The Graham family was from Pennsylvania, and constructed lots of rail type fence, which in uncommon in New Mexico. Barbed wire from 1920's or 30's later replaced much of the rail fence as it rotted.

Cool picture. Typical "New Mexico" scenery shot. All you need there is a little cactus there and it'd be perfect. Love it.
