Geez, can't do much of a show on that. My 5-piece band would barely squeeze onto that...

I don't know if it's a leisure suit, but here's a pic of Joey Casella performing right there: http://i171.photob...ricklands-Joey.jpg

Ha! You can see that it's the same carpet 30-some-odd years ago! It's not a leisure suit, but very appropriate none the less. Nice find!

The house band at Mt. Airy used to be "King Henry and the Showmen". Henry Casella was the "King" and his brother is Joey (who I had a HUGE crush on from when I was 10 pretty much until I got married!). This pic was taken when an ex-boyfriend and I went to Mt. Airy for a weekend and stopped to see Joey and his (ex)wife Thea who were performing at Stricklands. Joey had left Henry's band several years earlier. I wish when I went to see Mt. Airy in 2005 that I would have thought to see Stricklands. I think after spending so many years going to Mt. Airy, I was just so taken aback with the whole demolition I was kinda numb. :-(

I've seen Sandra-17's Mount Airy page. Please post the address again. You had some great pics on the Lodge in its heyday!
