I HATE GATE VALVES ON WATER YOU CANT GET THEM TO SHUT OFF ALL THE WAY, IVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM GETTING A BALL VALVE TO TOTALLY STOP THE FLOW TO THE LAST DROP OR BUBBLE TIGHT ON A COMPRESSED AIR , HIGH PRESSURE NATURAL GAS OR PROPANE LINE.
